Checked against the dictionaries. Every reading and meaning was verified against KANJIDIC2 and cross-checked with Kanji alive; all 5,436 vocabulary words were verified against JMdict. Sentence furigana is generated with the UniDic analyser and overridden with the verified vocabulary readings. Progress is saved in this browser only — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

The badge beside each word is the JLPT vocabulary list it appears on, which is separate from the kanji's own level — 政党 is an N2 word written with an N2 kanji, 与党 an N1 word written with the same one. A dashed — means the word is on no JLPT vocabulary list at all; 党員 and 党首 are ordinary Japanese, the lists simply don't carry them. About a third of the vocabulary here is unlisted in that way. The same words, the other way round. These are the vocabulary already on the kanji cards — you see the word, recall its reading and meaning, then check against the example sentence. Progress here is kept separately from the kanji, so drilling a word doesn't mark its kanji learned. The level menu and the Words filter both apply.

Mixed revision. Random questions built from what you've marked Got it — kanji meanings and readings, word readings and meanings, and fill-in-the-blank sentences, shuffled together. Wrong answers knock that item back a box so it returns in the Kanji and Vocab decks.
